Bio:
Vivek Ramaswamy is a devoted husband to Apoorva and a proud father of two boys and a baby girl. Together, they are raising their
family just outside Columbus, passing down the same Ohio values that shaped Vivek’s own life.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Vivek learned the values of hard work, free enterprise, and personal responsibility—principles that
have defined his life. A proud graduate of St. Xavier High School, a Catholic school in Cincinnati, he went on to earn degrees from
Harvard University and Yale Law School.
Vivek first made his mark in the business world as the founder of Roivant Sciences, a biopharmaceutical company. Under his
leadership, Roivant achieved multi-billion-dollar success, launching several subsidiary companies focused on drug development
across multiple therapeutic areas. His entrepreneurial success has been widely recognized, earning him national accolades, including
being featured on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list in finance and Fortune’s “40 Under 40” in healthcare.
Beyond business, Vivek has been a leading voice in the national conversation on free speech, capitalism, and American identity. As a
New York Times bestselling author, he has written “Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Scam” and “Nation of Victims:
Identity Politics, the Death of Merit, and the Path Back to Excellence,” books that have shaped debates on corporate and political
culture in America. He is a sought-after commentator, frequently appearing on major news networks and speaking at conferences
across the country about the importance of free markets, limited government, and individual liberty.
A businessman, entrepreneur, and unapologetic conservative, Vivek is ready to lead Ohio with a bold vision and strong leadership,
making our state the best place to live, work, and raise a family—all built on the values of economic freedom, limited government,
and personal responsibility.
